Good Conservative Christian Web Hosting

Written by Paul Zannucci on 9:07 PM

There's a great alternative to the traditional web hosts out there, a company that is run by someone who is both conservative and Christian. How do I know? Simple. It's mine. I felt like there was a place in the market for a patriotic American hosting company.

I bet you are asking, what the heck do I know about running a hosting company? More than you might think, but that doesn't matter because I've struck a deal to use GoDaddy's servers and 24/7 customer service. I'm sort of a wholesale supplier of domain names and web hosting.

Honestly, I can't always get the domain names below what GoDaddy offers them for. But I beat them on quality hosting plans. The least expensive comes in at $3.99 per month, and that's using their world-class servers. Plus it comes with a lot of extras.

So if you want to find a hosting company that you fell comfortable supports your conservative, Christian values, give mine a try:

    Hi,

I would recommend "Host Gator" because it's very cheap and reliable. Their support service is awesome. This company offers site building tools, application vault, web mail, antivirus, Php, MysQL ,e-commerce and hosts unlimited websites in one plan. Don't go for free web hosting. They are not reliable. I'm just curious as I was searching for web hosting, and one I found was gowebsite.com, and when I searched for conservative hosting, I found yours and I was surprised that you both have the same user interface.
I'm having a heck of a job finding hosting since easycgi are now as slow as molasses after their 'platform upgrade'. My URL is http://www.andygibson.net/ give a try and see how long it takes for the page to come up. They were fairly decent until they meddled with it all.

I signed up with accuwebhosting.com since I used them a couple of years ago, I signed up nearly a week ago, I'm still waiting for my account info and they already billed my card even though I told them to cancel the order.

I did sign up for 6 months with JustHost.com, and again I had to pester them for my account info. I asked them about their account upgrade and what was the point which they haven't answered yet. Also, I sent them a question on how to access my web pages without moving my domain name over since I want to set my blog up first before I transfer the names. I'm still waiting for a reply on that. Stupidly every response they send to initial inquiries always claims that they'll send a response in the hour which they never do.

JustHost just feels like they are constantly trying to upsell to the point that it's getting annoying. I guess the first clue that would be a problem is when they pop up the dialog box when you try to leave the page. Plus there is the question of daily backups (which they are trying to charge $20 annually for) which I'm trying to get clarification on. One of the top jobs of hosting is backing it up, yet their terms of service are somewhat sketchy.

I just want to pay $10 a month for decent hosting for a blog a remote site to backup some files from my local machine.

    Cheers,

    Andy Gibson

To be fair, it seems that Accuwebhosting did set up the account and send me the details in a timely manner. For some reason I only seem to be getting half the emails from their system (the automated ones) despite them having my correct address.

Hey, Andy. Sorry that I've neglected the site and didn't see your comment earlier.

I started a reseller program with a hosting company everyone has heard of and is very reliable. I've used them for ages. Unfortunately, due to my agreement with them, I can't disclose who they are. I suspect that is because I can undercut their pricing.

No worries, right now I'm with Accuwebhosting, I've used them before and after the original snafu, things are going great.
I'm still walking through the mud on getting a refund from JustHost as per usual with these things.
I replied over here since I'm in the middle of writing a couple of blog posts on the whole experience.

BTW, I think it was one of your articles I read on speeding up your site by checking the IP logs and banning IP addresses. I've been doing that on my new site although I let the spammers post and block their IP address from their spam comment, so thanks for that tip.

If it was your article, send me a link to it, and I'll give it a plug on my blog. Not that I get a huge amount of traffic, but hey, it might send a few more eyeballs your way.

    Cheers,
